Google continues to change how it works, and has rolled out a feature called “Preferred Sources” to help you see more stories from your favorite publishers. You now have the ability to mark a publisher as a preferred source, which will make their articles more likely to appear in Google’s “Top Stories” section.
To set Sun Sentinel as a preferred source, click here and select the box for the Sun Sentinel. You can also search for additional sources you prefer on this page and check the respective boxes to make sure they’re prioritized in your Google searches. You’ll then be more likely to see content from the Sun Sentinel, and other trusted sources, when you use Google to search for the latest news.
As AI models increasingly influence what shows up in search, being able to set a preferred source is a way of ensuring that you’re still seeing news from the sources you trust most.
