Hurricanes fall in AP poll, rise in others after bye week; FSU drops before facing UM

The Miami Hurricanes did not play this week, but they still moved in multiple polls.

Miami fell one spot to No. 3 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll, dropping behind Oregon after the Ducks beat Penn State on the road on Saturday night. The Hurricanes (4-0) received four first-place votes in the AP poll.

But UM did move up in two other polls: The Hurricanes moved up three spots to No. 3 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, and they moved up two spots to No. 3 in the FWAA-NFF Super 16.

Miami has only one ranked team on the schedule currently: FSU, which dropped from No. 8 to No. 18 after losing to Virginia on Friday night. The Hurricanes face one other team that received votes: Louisville.

The ACC has four ranked teams: Miami, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Virginia.
