The quality on Politico is variable; quite a few articles are written by party hacks on either side. It doesn’t announce that fact either, you have to click on the columnist’s name to find out they were a former staffer for so-and-so. It reflects the conventional wisdom of the moment well, but it generally only reinforces that conventional wisdom.
