The sweet singing, 13-time Grammy winner and contender for most-famous baritone in the world — the one and only — John Legend is coming to Virginia Beach.
Legend plans to belt fan favorites and tell stories from his life on stage at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts on April 9.
Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at the theater’s box office or online at ticketmaster.com. Current and new members of the Sandler Center Cyber Club will receive an exclusive code to purchase presale tickets that will be available 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday.
Legend is in the EGOT club, having won Emmys, Grammys, an Oscar and a Tony award, and has been a coach on NBC’s reality competition TV show “The Voice.”
He is expected to sing hits such as his 2013 “All of Me,” which spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “Ordinary People,” which spent 20 weeks on the chart in 2005.
