King William woman dies in head-on wreck in Hanover County

HANOVER — A 31-year-old woman from King William County was killed Tuesday in an early morning head-on collision in neighboring Hanover County.

Hanover deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash about 7:30 a.m. in the 14800 block of Verdon Road.

A 2025 Subaru was traveling west when it crossed a solid white line and hit a Toyota Tundra heading east, according to a news release from the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver of the Subaru, Megan Michelle Fisher, died at the scene. Two juveniles in the Subaru were transported to a local hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, the release said. The driver of the Toyota was also taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. No passengers were in the Toyota.
