The four remaining unbeatens stay in the first four spots of the Colonial-Schuylkill League’s top 10 rankings after Week 6.
Southern Lehigh, Northwestern Lehigh, Notre Dame-Green Pond and Schuylkill Haven all won by double figures last Friday to move to 6-0.
There was several changes in the second half of the rankings, including a team re-entering the top 10.
There also are two new No. 1s in the latest District 11 playoff ratings.
Here is a breakdown of both:
District 11 standings
There was plenty of shuffling after Week 6 action.
Lackawanna Trail won and Marian Catholic lost, so the two flip flop at the top of the Class A subregional. Tri-Valley maintains a strong No. 3 spot. Holy Cross has the fourth and final spot entering the final month of the regular season.
Schuylkill Haven vaults over Williams Valley atop the 2A race after beating the host Vikings last Friday. Pen Argyl jumps over Palisades for the third spot after nudging past Salisbury and Palisades losing at Blue Mountain. Northern Lehigh stays at No. 5 after losing to unbeaten Notre Dame-Green Pond. Minersville and Executive Education each move up one spot to Nos. 6 and 7, respectively, while Catasauqua drops two spots to No. 8, the last playoff spot. Mahanoy Area and Shenandoah Valley stay at Nos. 9 and 10.
The top four stay the same in the 3A standings: 1. Notre Dame-Green Pond; 2. Northwestern Lehigh; 3. North Schuylkill; 4. Tamaqua. Saucon Valley moves up two spots to No. 5 after beating Catasauqua. Salisbury stays at No. 6. Panther Valley drops two spots to No. 7, followed by Palmerton and Pine Grove.
No change at the top in 4A. Bethlehem Catholic, Southern Lehigh, Central Catholic and Blue Mountain are Nos. 1 through 4. Lehighton jumps over Pottsville for the No. 5 seed after shutting out the Crimson Tide 35-0. Jim Thorpe, Wilson, Bangor and East Stroudsburg North remain Nos. 7 through 10.
Whitehall, Pleasant Valley, Pocono Mountain East and East Stroudsburg South stay in the same order in 5A. East hosts South on Friday.
The first four stay the same in 6A (Easton, Parkland, Nazareth and Liberty). Freedom and Northampton each move up a spot while Pocono Mountain West slides two spots to No. 7. Nazareth hosts Liberty and Northampton hosts Easton in Week 7.
Stroudsburg jumps over Emmaus for the eighth and final spot. Stroudsburg visits West and Emmaus travels to Whitehall in Week 7.
