Here is a roundup of Friday night’s top Lehigh Valley high school football games in Week 6.
Easton 62, Stroudsburg 0
Easton opened the scoring in the first quarter when Cole Ordway threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Skyler Fowlin. Moments later, Sean McPeek returned an interception 26 yards for another score, and following a Stroudsburg fumble, Ordway connected with Mason Stout on a 27-yard touchdown. After a two-point conversion, Easton led 22-0 with 6:33 left in the first quarter.
Ordway and McPeek connected for an 80-yard touchdown on the first play of the second quarter. Another interception led to four straight runs by Chris Martinez, ending with a touchdown to make it 36-0. McPeek’s second interception set up Ordway’s touchdown pass to Kurtis Crossman, and Ordway later found McPeek again for a 50-0 lead at halftime.
Easton added two more touchdowns in the second half to close out the EPC win over Stroudsburg.
Freedom 42, East Stroudsburg South 0
Freedom capitalized immediately when East Stroudsburg South fumbled the opening kickoff, setting up the Patriots in prime position. Jahaire Hughes finished the drive with a short touchdown run, and Freedom led 7-0 early. Hughes added another score on 4th-and-short to make it 14-0 with 7:59 left in the first quarter.
The Patriots’ Geovanny Ledee then intercepted Cavaliers QB Ivan Laubach, but Freedom gave the ball back on a fumble recovered by South’s Lyric Parkins. The Cavaliers turned to Greyson Fuller at QB, though his first possession ended with another interception. Abraham Pla broke free for a 25-yard touchdown run, and quarterback Michael Stofanak later connected with Izyias DeJesus for a 51-yard score, pushing the lead to 28-0 at the end of the first quarter.
A South fumble set up another quick Patriots touchdown early in the second quarter, and Stofanak hit Davyan Moore for a 32-yard touchdown strike to extend the lead to 42-0 with 9:45 left in the half. South had chances, including a dropped pass in the end zone and a touchdown wiped out by penalty, but mistakes prevented the Cavaliers from scoring. Freedom led 42-0 at halftime and the defense persevered the shutout in the second half.

Palmerton capitalized on a Wilson fumble on the opening possession, as quarterback T.K. Gursky connected with Vincent Taglieri for a 24-yard touchdown. In the second quarter, Gursky found Caleb Sagastume from six yards out to extend the lead, and Taglieri later added a 27-yard touchdown run to push the lead to 28-0 at halftime. Palmerton tacked on one more score in the second half.

The Indians carried that momentum into the third quarter. Lukas Crozier found the end zone with 6:29 left in the stanza, making it 21-0. Later in the quarter, Lawrence connected with Meek for another touchdown at the 1:44 mark, stretching the lead to 28-0.
