A 67-year-old man from The Villages riding a Kawasaki Ninja 500 died after crashing into a tree Friday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man was traveling eastbound on Woodbridge Drive at 6:07 p.m. east of Village Campus Circle in Sumter County, according to an FHP report.
He lost control of the motorcycle, departing the roadway and struck a tree, suffering fatal injuries, FHP stated.
