A man was hospitalized Wednesday night after a crash involving a motorcycle near the heart of Greenbrier in Chesapeake.

Around 7:15 p.m., police were called to the intersection of Eden Way North and Stephanie Way, which is off Greenbrier Parkway near the Greenbrier Market Center shopping center.

After arriving at the scene, officers found a man who was suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital, according to a news release.

No details about the crash were released. The road was closed while officers conduct a thorough investigation, police said in the release.
