Map: Here’s the latest forecast track of Tropical Storm Humberto

Tropical Storm Humberto formed northeast of the Caribbean on Wednesday evening and is forecast to eventually strengthen into a hurricane by Sunday.

The National Hurricane Center said the storm will take a track to the northwest between Bermuda and the U.S. East Coast. There is low confidence in the exact track of the storm, especially into early next week.

Here’s the latest forecast track:

The various computer forecasting models, known as the spaghetti models, indicate a wide spread of possible tracks, some of which take Humberto closer to the U.S. coast. But all forecast an eventual turn to the north and then northeast.
