The lanky hip-hop rocker MGK, aka Machine Gun Kelly, will play Hartford’s Xfinity Theatre on June 6, 2026, as part of his “Lost Americana Tour” announced on Thursday.
The tour is in service of MGK’s new album “Lost Americana” which was released in early August. The tour begins Nov. 15, 2025 and ends July 1, 2026, so the Hartford date falls within the last few weeks of the nearly eight-month tour. Besides dozens of dates in the U.S., the “Lost Americana Tour” plays Canada, Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, France, Netherlands, England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
Singer/songwriter/rapper/actor Wiz Khalifa (“Say Yeah,” “Work Hard Play Hard”) and alt-rock vocalist De’Wayne (“Just a Little,” “Die Out Here”) will be MGK’s opening acts on the tour.
MGK’s been at the Xfinity Theatre twice before: In 2019 on his “Justin Bieber Big Tour” (the title was a joke and the tour did not involve Bieber) and way back in 2012 with dozens of other bands on the Vans Warped Tour when the venue was known as the Comcast Theatre. He has played three times at Mohegan Sun Arena, first in 2017 as the opening act for Linkin Park, then co-headlining with Fall Out Boy in 2018, and on his own headlining tours in 2021 and 2023. Early in his solo touring career, he played the Oakdale Theatre’s Dome space in 2014.
Presale ticket deals for MGK’s show at the Xfinity Theatre begin on Sept. 22 at 12 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Sept. 25 at 12 p.m. through Ticketmaster.
MGK has been a major star since his debut album “Lace Up” was released in 2011. “Lost Americana” is his seventh album. His many hits include “Bloody Valentine,” “Rap Devil,” “My Ex’s Best Friend,” “Wild Boy,” “Bad Thing,” “Forget Me Too” and “I Think I’m OKAY.” MGK is also an accomplished actor who has appeared in dozens of movies and TV episodes, sometimes credited as Machine Gun Kelly or MGK but also under his given name Colson Baker. He played drummer Tommy Lee in the Mötley Crüe biopic “The Dirt” in 2019 and in Cameron Crowe’s rock-tour series “Roadies” in 2019 among other roles.
There are still a couple of shows left in the current 2025 season at the Xfinity Theater, including $uicideBoy$ on Sept. 23, Twenty One Pilots on Sept. 30 and Pierce the Veil on Oct. 22 ,but the venue is already posting shows coming next year. Besides Machine Gun Kelly on June 6, 2026, it was announced that Riley Green’s “Cowboy as It Gets” tour will be at the Xfinity Theater on Aug. 14, 2026.
