A gas station was robbed at gunpoint in Norwich on Wednesday night.
The robbery was reported at the Shell Gas Station at 564 W. Main St. around 9 p.m., according to Sgt. Ken Wright of the Norwich Police Department.
Wright said a male entered the store armed with a firearm and demanded money from the clerk. He fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money.
No injuries were reported.
“At this time, no further information is being released, as the investigation remains active and ongoing,” Wright said in a statement. “Detectives are continuing to review evidence and pursue investigative leads.”
