One person was seriously injured in a crash involving a snow plow in East Lyme on Monday.
The collision occurred at the intersection of West Main Street and the Rocky Neck Connector around 5:30 p.m., according to the East Lyme Police Department.
Police said a vehicle coming from the connector struck a plow truck that was traveling on West Main Street.
One person was seriously injured and taken to a hospital. The condition of the other driver was not immediately clear.
Police are investigating the crash along with the regional accident reconstruction team.
The road was closed in the area of the crash while investigators were on scene.
