Pa. high school football rankings; Easton moves up another spot in 6A; Parkland remains third

There are 553 football programs in Pennsylvania, and each of them strives for perfection when a season begins.

But through eight weekends of games, just 29 teams have maintained their goal of a perfect season.

And, six of the unbeatens are from District 11, and all of them own a spot in the state top-10 rankings.

In 6A, Parkland maintains the No. 3 spot, but Easton continues to rise and is now No. 8.

In 4A, Southern Lehigh remains in the top spot, while in 3A, Northwestern Lehigh and Notre Dame-Green Pond are second and third, respectively.

In 2A, Schuylkill Haven holds on to No. 1.

Here is a complete list of the rankings compiled by Eric Epler of Pennlive.com.
