Brandon Walker, Dr. Joaquin Garcia: Guided the Bulldogs to the inaugural FIT state football championship, the school’s first team title in just the third year removed from a 1-9 season. “I am most proud of the commitment that our players showed throughout the year. From going 1-9 in our inaugural season to winning the F.I.T. Division 2 State Championship is a testament to our players and coaches building this program brick by brick.”

Jack Daniels, Cardinal Newman: Led the Crusaders to the first state championship in school history with an upset win over four-time Class 1A defending state champion Chaminade-Madonna. It was his third title in four tries, the previous two wins coming at Dwyer in 2009 and 2013. “This is the best feeling in the world…we worked extremely hard, and they bought into it. We got better every week, we really did.”
