Palm Beach Jewbilee brings Jewish life to center stage | PHOTOS

The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County hosted the first Jewbilee: A Showcase of Life in the Palm Beaches on Aug. 17 at the Mandel JCC in Boynton Beach.

With over 70 Jewish organizations in attendance, guests got the chance to browse vendors selling kosher food and Judaica, find resources for preschools, bar mitzvah prep and prayer, and learn new ways to connect to Judaism in Palm Beach County.

A few notable vendors included bites from The Great American Kosher BBQ and Nosh Micro Bakery; youth organizations including NFTY,USY and Student’s Supporting Israel; synagogues including Congregation L’dor Va-Dor and Temple Israel; and Judaica including Judaic Books and artwork from The HeARTful Hub. Volunteer opportunities were also available from Kohl Jewish Volunteer Center.

In addition to the vendors, the Federation also provided activities for children, including a bounce house, face paint, crafts, and story time hosted by PJ Library. The Simon Weisenthal Center’s Mobile Museum of Tolerance was also in attendance for guests to visit.
