A portion of Main Street in Palmer Township is closed Tuesday morning following a crash there.

Township police said about 8 a.m. that both the lanes of Main Street from Trolley Line Drive to Route 33 south exit ramp will be closed until further notice. A multi-vehicle crash happened there earlier in the morning, according to 511pa.com, PennDOT’s traffic website.

Photos of the crash posted on social media showed a vehicle crashed into a tractor-trailer.

Police said the following detours are in place:

Those traveling west on Main Street are being detoured onto Trolley Line Drive
Those traveling east on Main Street are being detoured onto Van Buren Road or Route 33 south
The Route 33 north/Main Street exit ramp is being detoured east onto Main Street
The Route 33 south/Main Street exit ramp is being detoured west onto Main Street
