A man died on Wednesday night after he was struck by a motor vehicle in New Haven, police said.
Officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian in the area of Orange Avenue at Ella T. Grasso Boulevard, according to the New Haven Police Department. Police have not identified the man or the time of the incident.
Police said the driver of the motor vehicle remained at the scene.
The area of Boston Post Road was closed between Marginal Drive to Ella T. Grasso Boulevard as officers investigated the scene, according to the West Haven Police Department.
