Police: Juveniles allege masked individuals robbed them at gunpoint at CT apartment

Police are investigating the report of a home invasion in New Haven on New Year’s Eve.

Officers responded to a laundromat near Grand Avenue and Poplar Street around 5:20 p.m. on the report of a robbery and were told that the incident occurred at a residence on Woolsey Street, according to the New Haven Police Department.

Investigators were told three juveniles were in a second-floor apartment when someone allegedly knocked on the door, police said. Three or four masked individuals wearing dark clothing then allegedly entered the unit with handguns and demanded wallets and purses from the juveniles, according to police.
