Police are responding to a shooting Monday night in Fountain Hill.

The shooting was reported around 9 p.m. in the 700 block of Cherokee Street, near Fiot Street, according to Lehigh County emergency radio dispatches. That area is right along the border with Bethlehem.

One male was reported to have been shot, according to the dispatches.

Photos shared by the Lehigh Valley Breaking News Facebook page showed multiple police vehicles and crime scene tape blocking off the street.

No further details were immediately available.
