Lehigh Valley residents will get one day only for exclusive samples, tastings, wellness stops and activities during this weekend’s Hellertown-Lower Saucon Taste Trail.
The one-day event will kick off its second year at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce announced in a news release, letting attendees collect stamps for their “passports” as they visit local businesses for samples and activities.
Last year’s inaugural event sold out.
With more expected to join, the participating businesses include Lost Tavern Brewing, La Maya, B Social, Yianni’s Taverna, Frey’s Better Foods, Nick and Noah’s, Drip – The Flavor Lab, DiMaio’s Italian Ristorante & Pizzeria, Plaza Azteca, Saylors & Co., Braveheart Highland Pub, Taste Of Italy Ristorante, Cross Pizza, Vassi’s Drive-In, Saucon Valley Bikes and Main Street Gym.
Attendees who complete the post-event survey can potentially win gift cards and vote for their favorite participating business. The one with the most votes will receive the event’s People’s Favorite Award, “a prestigious recognition celebrating community preference and local excellence.”
“The Hellertown-Lower Saucon Taste Trail is one of the most engaging and delicious ways to showcase the incredible variety of businesses in our community,” Jessica O’Donnell Gower, the executive vice president of affiliated chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, said in the release. “We’re proud to see this event grow from 11 businesses last year to 16 and counting in 2025. It’s proof of the energy and passion of our small businesses, and it’s a celebration that brings neighbors, families, and friends together to support local while enjoying everything Saucon Valley has to offer.”
Passports are $35 in advance, $40 day of the event, and can be purchased on the chamber website. Registration is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at B Social, 3717 Route 378.
