The popular Pearly Baker’s Alehouse will host a grand reopening next month for its new owners in the Lehigh Valley.
Pearly Baker’s will reopen to the public at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 at 11 Centre Square in Easton, a news release announced.
The restaurant will keep the same menu as before its sale in July, while serving new Lebanese and Italian dishes and, eventually, cappuccino, according to co-owner Philip Simonetta.
Simonetta, who owns the restaurant with his brothers Michael and Joseph, said it would also host events like trivia, comedy nights, and private events for weddings and birthday parties.
“It was a great day waking up,” Simonetta said when he saw that the liquor license transferred on Thursday, adding that “all the hard work paid off.”
The operating hours will be 11-2 a.m. all week.
Jonathan Davis and Greg Schuyler opened Pearly Baker’s in 1994. The building itself was constructed in 1869 as Easton’s first YMCA and later hosted establishments such as the Manhattan Club and Charlie’s Bar.
Pearly Baker’s will also participate in Easton Garlic Fest on Oct. 4 and 5, Simonetta said.
