PORTSMOUTH — Two people, including one juvenile, are injured following a shooting in the 200 block of Chowan Drive, according to a news release from the Portsmouth Police Department.
This block has apartment buildings and businesses. Portsmouth police responded to a call about a shooting at about 5:12 p.m. and located two people with gunshot wounds. One was a man and the other was a male juvenile. Both people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
This is an active investigation and when asked, police did not provide any additional information, including the age of anyone involved or the severity of the injuries.
