Readers speak: Let’s cheer in CT for the wind energy project resuming

It is good news that the Revolution Wind energy project is resuming, putting workers back to work on a sustainable energy project.

The ruling by Judge Lamberth, that the stop-work order was a “shockingly expansive theory of agency power to undo prior regulatory approvals” should put an end to talk of an appeal.

We need to facilitate more wind projects in the region, not less.

Renewable energy projects present an opportunity to create good jobs that are not dependent on military spending. In the US, we currently spend more than a billion in tax dollars on nuclear weapons (doomsday machines) when we could be putting people to work building a sustainable future.
