The letter “Thank God, Jimmy Kimmel is back,” frames, falsely, the rehiring of the professional Trump-phobic by a cowardly ABC as a win for free speech. In fact, Kimmel’s original firing never threatened the First Amendment. His remarks were in poor taste: Nothing more than hatred with a smile. His yodels call it “comedy,” laughing uproariously at the behest of a laugh track.
Kimmel was suspended for the same reason many are fired by Democrat institutions:uttering, even in private, insensitive, cruel, false remarks, which they call “hate speech,” “misinformation/conspiracy”; and those found guilty are not only fired, they are “canceled,” proscribed for life from employment in their fields.
Kimmel’s smug cawing connecting the assassin of Charlie Kirk to “MAGA “ is a conspiratorial lie for which there isn’t a shred of proof; his reducing of Charlie Kirk’s death to that of a “goldfish” and president to a “four-year old crying’ over it is as hateful as it can go,
The letter coined a new requirement for the presidency, that of being “capable of taking a joke.” Would he find it funny to call Kamala Harris an elementary school drop out who can’t utter a cogent sentence?
Personally, I’d find the joke spot on.
