ROCKVILLE – Rockville senior kicker Molly Wilson broke four state records Friday night in Rockville’s 69-6 win over SMSA, including the most career extra points by a female kicker and the most points scored in a game by a female football player in Connecticut.
Wilson, who has been Rockville’s kicker for four years, was 9 of 9 on PATs and scored a touchdown on a 1-yard run in the second quarter. She had 15 points (the most by a female player in a game), breaking the record set by North Haven’s Sabrina Fronte (12) and now has 155 extra points, also breaking Fronte’s record (148). She also broke the record for total kicking points with 158 (the record was 157) and career points with 170 (also 157, both set by Fronte). She also tied the record for most PATs by a female kicker in a game.

Will J Davis, who scored four touchdowns in the game, was headed to the end zone late in the first half but kneeled at the 1-yard line so the coaches could bring in Wilson to score the touchdown and get the scoring record.
“It’s pretty great,” Wilson said. “I just want to say thank you to my teammates because if they don’t score, I don’t get the chance to kick. And Will J (Davis) for kneeling for me – he could have scored and got another touchdown but he kneeled for me so I could score and get that record.”
