Snow could be coming into Hampton Roads on Monday, and school districts across the region are acting ahead of the potential white stuff.
Most of the region is looking at around 1 to 2 inches of snow, according to the Sunday afternoon dispatch from the National Weather Service in Wakefield. Up to 4 inches could be possible in a “worst-case” scenario. Generally, the further east you are, the less snow you’re likely to get. Eastern Virginia Beach, for instance, likely will only see up to an inch.
Timing wise, for most of the region, snow is expected to begin anywhere from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
