Seasonal Christmas stores opening in two CT locations. Here’s where you can meet Santa himself.

Spirit Christmas is coming to Connecticut with two locations opening later this month or in early November.

The company will be setting up locations at former Joann’s stores in Manchester and Milford. The Manchester location will be at 1440 Pleasant Valley Road, and 1405 Boston Post Road will be the home of the Milford store.

Last year there were plans for a location to open at the Crystal Mall that eventually fell through.

Spirit Christmas will feature holiday décor, apparel, inflatables, gifts and stocking stuffers as well as immersive Santa photo experiences.

According to a company release, Spirit Christmas is nearly quadrupling its footprint from last year. There will be 30 pop-up locations opening up in the Northeast and Great Lakes regions.

Spirit Christman is owned by Spencer Spirit Holdings, which is the same company that owns Spirit Halloween retail stores. The parent company, Spencer Gifts, purchased the Spirit Halloween brand in 1999 and expanded into the Christmas retail market. There are 1,500 Spirit Halloween locations across North America, including 15 in Connecticut.

Spirit Christmas locations will feature an all-new Peppermint Village in addition to offering unique gifts and interactive displays where you can mail your letter to Santa at the North Pole.

“At Spirit, we believe the magic of the season does not end with Halloween — it transforms,” Steven Silverstein, chief executive officer of Spirit Christmas, said in a statement. “Back by popular demand and with even more locations, Spirit Christmas is an extension of our sensory-rich, interactive holiday experiences. From our one-of-a-kind Santa photo experience to an exclusive collection of festive merchandise, we’re thrilled to welcome guests back for another unforgettable season of magic and fun.”

Spirit Christmas has partnered with Cherry Hill Programs to provide photos with Santa.

“We’re excited to partner with Spirit Christmas to create a joyful holiday experience for families. Our collaboration brings together the excitement of holiday shopping with the magic of meeting Santa, ensuring guests have unforgettable moments to treasure for years to come,” Chris Landtroop, vice president of marketing and communications at Cherry Hill Programs said in a statement.
