Silver Alert issued for mother, infant child missing in New Haven

A mother and her infant child have been reported missing from New Haven.

A Silver Alert was issued for the disappearance of 25-year-old Aviona Pouncey and her daughter, 5-month-old Kwanmaine Glasperjr, according to Connecticut State Police.

The two were last seen on Sunday and are believed to be traveling together, authorities said.

Pouncey is believed to be wearing gray sweatpants. She stands 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs about 120 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.

The infant was last seen in a blue onesie with bears on it and a jean jacket. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts has been asked to contact the New Haven Police Department at 203-946-6316.
