The Pro Football Hall of Fame has made it to the next round of votes while whittling down the list of senior candidates for possible 2026 induction from 52 to 34 candidates, and former Miami Dolphins Bob Kuechenberg and Dick Anderson are among the group.
Kuechenberg, a versatile offensive lineman, and Anderson, a ball-hawking safety, were each key cogs in the Dolphins 1971-73 run where they won three AFC titles and two Super Bowls, including finishing 17-0 in 1972.
Nine from this list will be picked as semifinalists in a vote that is slated to take place over the next month. Then, three senior nominees will be selected as finalists for possible induction.
The final Hall of Fame vote, which also includes modern-era players and coaches and contributors, has been revealed in the time between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl.
