A teenager on a scooter was injured in a hit-and-run collision in Waterbury on Sunday night.
The collision occurred shortly before 8:20 p.m. in the area of Baldwin Street and a ramp to Interstate 84, according to Sgt. Joseph Morais of the Waterbury Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene and found a 17-year-old suffering from injuries that were not considered life-threatening, Morais said. The victim was taken to an area hospital.
According to Morais, the driver involved took off from the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
