CHESAPEAKE — A teenager is in serious condition after a shooting in Chesapeake, according to police.

At 6:41 p.m. on Monday, Chesapeake police officers responded to a report of gunshots at the 1700 block of Acorn Street.

This is off of Atlantic Avenue and includes multi-family homes.

There, police found a teenager with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital and is in serious condition.
