CHESAPEAKE — A juvenile was injured after another juvenile mishandled a gun and it went off, according to Chesapeake police.
This incident occurred at the 500 block of Atamasco Street, which is a suburban area near George Washington Highway. Both people involved are teenagers.
A teenager was handling the gun when it accidentally went off and hit another teenager, police say. The teenager who was shot was injured, but according to police his injuries are non-life-threatening and he was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
