It is not too late to enjoy some holiday merriment.
Horse and carriage rides have been extended for three more weekends in 2026, beginning with the weekend after New Year’s, according the Town of Wethersfield: “The Town of Wethersfield is partnering with Double M Ranch Horse Drawn Carriage Rides to deliver free rides.”
The three weekends for free rides are Jan. 3-4, Jan. 10-11, and Feb. 14-15 for a “Valentine’s Day Weekend Special Ride,” according to the Town of Wethersfield.
“On Saturdays, the route being followed will run along Main Street to River Road and back,” according to the Town of Wethersfield. “On Sunday, the route will circle portions of the Broad Street Green. Some rides will be in a smaller, old fashioned carriage designed for smaller groups and others will be a slightly larger hay ride style wagon.”
Iconic CT retailer is moving to smaller location. But it’s not pulling up stakes entirely.
