Three young men died after they crashed on the Staten Island Expressway and their car overturned early Sunday, police said.
The victims were in a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze when the driver lost control in the New Jersey-bound lanes near the exit for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Expressway about 4:20 a.m., cops said.
The car slammed into a barrier and overturned. The impact left the crumpled upside-down vehicle nearly flattened.
All three men inside, ages 25, 26 and 27, died at the scene.
Police are still investigating the crash and have not yet released the victims’ names.
