Ticked Off! @bananas

I can’t seem to find a decent stalk of bananas.  I cover the stems, buy organic, separate them, try refrigeration, and try internet gimmicks, etc., but to no avail.  They get soft quickly, spots form quickly, have hard brown cores, fruit flies or just no taste: I’m over it.
After being ticked off so many times waiting in waiting rooms long after my scheduled appointment time, I finally realized why doctors call their customers “patients.”  It’s simply because, more often than not, it does take a lot of patience sitting there waiting to be seen.
I am so upset with the man arrested for animal abuse to horses. The story said he had been issued animal infractions dating back years, according to records. Animal control was ordered to make unannounced visits. Where were they? The horses were neglected by this man and animal control. How sad!
To ticked off at barbers: In 1965, to change from the military crew cut to a longer cut, I asked the barber for a scissor trim. Before I could stop him, I had a crew cut. That was the last time I was in a barber shop.  Consequently, I can use myself as an example of passive-aggressive behavior.

The flip side

I want to thank Tom MacCubbin for his quick response to my gardening question.  Tom is considered one of the top horticulturalists in Florida and we are so lucky to have him, with his years of expertise, writing for the Sentinel.
