There have been recent accolades in the news about the guy who came up with the idea of putting a little arrow on car dashboards to tell you which side to put the gas in. Mine points to the wrong side (true)! It makes me wonder if my whole dashboard is on the wrong car.
I am confident that the viewing masses in Central Florida mute their TVs when offered viewing nightly of “Local Steals and Deals.”
It’s often pointed out that America saved the French in two wars, but it’s relatively unknown that the French saved us during the Revolutionary War with troops, naval power, weapons and money. We would have lost that war without them.
I’m going to the gym daily as my New Year’s resolution. Not for health and fitness, but just so I can become strong enough to open grocery and consumer-purchase packages.
I’m ticked off at professional weathercasters who can’t properly pronounce the word “temperature.” Grown people on TV all day, talking about “tempatures.”

Thank you to Deanna, who works at the Dr. Phillips Center. We went to a Broadway show and she helped us find our seats. She is so friendly and helpful.
I wanted to comment on how refreshing the college and NFL playoffs have been so far. It’s really exciting to see that all of the high-profile teams have already been eliminated and new teams have emerged. It’s been fun to watch and the new year is off to a great start!
