Ticked off! @kids on electric bikes

We recently observed a very large group of out of control spoiled rich kids in Celebration riding their expensive high speed electric bikes on their way home from school. 30-40 kids had congregated and took over the busy corners of Front Street and Bloom Street to show off their wild riding skills. Many were weaving down the middle of the street dodging cars and some were even doing uncontrollable wheelies for blocks. Making matters worse there wasn’t a parent or a law enforcement presence anywhere in sight. Just an unfortunate accident waiting to happen.
I am ticked off at the HR department of SeaWorld. Twice my daughter has applied for positions on their website and been given a confirmed interview appointment. Both times she got all dressed for the interview and drove out there, only to be turned away because the guard did not have her on the interview list. Even after she showed the guard her email confirmation. This is rude and disrespectful. If they fill the position, they should at least have the courtesy to let the candidate know.
Really? Really? There are many complaints about the new electronic-edition format. I entirely concur. However, this morning I reached my breaking point. I was unable to print the entire crossword puzzle, just a portion. This (and more) is totally unacceptable. Please do something to help your readers. Listen to us, please.
I will add my voice to the person ticked off at the news reporters who try to sound like they’re 10 years old. The biggest annoyance is when they’re reporting from the field, and on camera they’re waving their cell phones around, even glancing at it. I understand they may be receiving some up to the minute information relevant to the report, but the stations should at least order them not to flail it around on camera, it makes them look like some idiotic 14-year-old TikTok brat.

The flip side

Thank you to my mom for reminding me that there are so many beautiful things in nature such as rainbows, butterflies and colorful flowers that we just have to look up from our smart phones to see them.
