• Eastbound cars exiting State Road 408 at Mills Avenue need to use turn signals and show if they are planning to move into the right lanes of Anderson Street or are turning left onto Bumby. I am happy to give people space when they use their turn signals, but if they do not use them, how am I to know what they are trying to do? We really need signs prior to the exit telling drivers on the 408 they need to use turn signals. I’m fairly sure that most cars still come with turn signals. Maybe people need a reminder where they are located and why they need to use them.
• When I buy only a few things at Publix, my receipt is still over a foot long. Worse, the bar code is at the very bottom. So, if you need to return or exchange an item, you need that bar code. You can’t simply tear the receipt in half. You have to keep all that excess paper. Not cool.
• I wish Seminole County would fix the huge dip at the entrance to the Circle K located at east Lake Brantley Drive and State Road 434. Vehicles are constantly bottoming out and being damaged. Exiting and entering that location are troublesome.
The flip side
• Thank you to Madeline at the Wendy’s on east Curry Ford Road. She greeted me when I came in the restaurant and said “have a nice day” as I left. She has a great smile, is very polite and provided excellent customer service.
