It ticks me off that the only federal people getting paid are the ones who are keeping the government shut down. That’s just wrong!
We have a neighbor who has a water pump beside their house that runs all night. Between 2 and 6:30, it’s screaming loud. I don’t know how they can sleep, as it’s very loud and keeps me awake.
Count me in with those who are ticked off with Publix.  Open carry in grocery stores, just following the law?  Come on.  I suppose hospitals, schools, other grocery stores, etc., are breaking the law by not allowing open carry.  It’s too bad. I like my local Publix and their employees, but I’m switching to Walmart.  Florida has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous.
To the people who are ticked off at the Publix open gun approach, I ask, who would you be most concerned about: (a) the person who has the open gun on the hip or (b) the person who has a concealed gun in a purse or hidden by a jacket, which has been law since 2023? I am not for (a) or (b), but this is what Florida has to offer.
I’m ticked off more people are not supporting Publix and our second amendment! Congratulations, Publix, for lowering crime in your stores. It’s a fact where good guys open carry, crime drops! Where has common sense gone?

A great big thank you to the amazing staff at the Goldenrod Post Office on Citrus Avenue.  You all go above and beyond to meet customer needs. This small post office is truly a treasure!
Thank you to my husband, Dan, who does the dishes after I make a big mess in the kitchen while making dinner.
