Ticked off! @Orlando Dreamers

Investors continue to pull out of Orlando’s efforts to land a Major Leage Baseball team. They give varying answers for pulling out, but I’m telling you it’s the stupid name Dreamers that’s sinking it. Hear me now and believe me later, nobody but nobody, is gonna get behind a team with that idiotic name.
Is there a law that requires text messaging to be in “Scramblish?”
Ask Eric’s responses are way too wordy, redundant, and boring. He’s way too verbose. He uses far more words than necessary to express his thoughts. Ask Amy was far more succinct. I miss her concise and constructive columns. Eric should seek advice from Dear Abby; her answers are short, direct, and often entertaining!
To the individual that claims we shouldn’t be affected by others taking a knee during our National Anthem because it doesn’t affect us personally, claiming resentment and anger? How self centered are you? So we shouldn’t care as long as you’re not affected. Character, integrity, doing the right thing is my concern not my ego.
I am ticked off that restaurants make servers pay for dine and dashers. Monitoring miscreants should not be part of the job description. Perhaps managers who are not as busy serving tables should be tasked with that job.

The flip side

Kudos to the Aurora restaurant in the Celeste Hotel on the UCF campus. The Magical Dining experience was truly “orbital”! The apps and entrees were delicious opening acts for the add-on “out of this world” desert……The “Super Nova”. We’re still coming down from the massive sugar rush!
I absolutely agree with the person who wrote in about the great customer service rep Maryann who works at the Publix in Maitland on U.S. 17-92. She is always smiling while multitasking and doing her best. She always takes time out of her busy day to ask how I’m doing and shows genuine concern and never rushes off even though I know she has other customers and problems to deal with. Thanks from me as well, Maryann , for being you!
