If you call me and don’t identify yourself, the organization you’re with and the reason you’re calling, don’t bother asking, “Are you there?” I won’t be.
To the several people who don’t like Ask Erik. Being more sophisticated psychologically than most folks, I know a lot of people who could benefit by psychotherapy. So maybe that is the answer. Maybe he should just answer each letter by saying “go to therapy.”
I’m ticked off that the Sports section goes all in on the train wreck Gators while UCF, Miami and especially FSU get very little attention. Gators go 3-9 or 2-10 while the others teams are doing great.
A Volusia County elementary school has been vandalized. Guess the sheriff will make it another junior perp-walk photo op.
Watching the Emmys. Who are these people and shows? I guess you have to have all the streaming services and lots of time and money to keep up with them. A total waste of time if you ask me.
How sad that that the Miami Dolphins football game wasn’t on CBS in the Orlando area. It was the Jacksonville-Cincinnati game on CBS instead! We moved to Florida in ’64 and have followed the Dolphins since!!
There is a place in the paper for writing about current events and providing your feelings/opinions about current events (that do not remotely involve sports/athletes). It is the Op-Ed section. Please leave the Sports section as our sanctuary from things that do not involve sports/athletes.
Truly ticked off that I pay my bills in full monthly, we paid off the mortgage before my husband died, I paid cash for my car, and my credit rating goes down. Why do we get penalized for being responsible?
Now, for the umpteenth time, the national news media is turning an assassin into a celebrity. Precisely the reason he took a rifle to UTU.
I was so happy to see someone apply for a bear kill permit ONLY to use this to take it away from one of the licenses away from a hunter! I wish another 186 people would do this so there would be no bear kills event!
