I’m ticked off at all the TV shows and movies that show a person looking at the phone after receiving a text, which is unreadable to the audience. How hard would it be to enlarge the text or zoom in on the text so folks over 75 can read it along with the actor?
Put my vote in for eliminating falling back. Give us Daylight Saving Time year-round and stop the insanity. Absolutely no advantage to it getting dark earlier. The weather finally gets tolerable, but now it’s already dark out. Can’t go enjoy the outdoors at the end of your workday or school day. Why would we do that to ourselves twice a year and screw with our whole psyche of what time it is? Absolutely ridiculous.
I’m ticked off at those who advocate changing to year-round Daylight Saving Time. An advocate’s opinion appeared in a recent Ticked Off. This individual questioned the science that showed increased strokes and obesity when changing to DST and had a “worst time” adjusting to changing to standard time. Guess what? I have a tough time adjusting to DST every March. Right now, I feel great because I am on my natural sleep cycle during this standard time. The DST advocate ignored the danger to schoolchildren going to school in the dark. My suggestion to the DST advocate is to get yourself on a natural sleep cycle and to use LED lights at night.
