Memo to our elected leaders during the shutdown: No guarantees to get paid is not working. You wanna play, you gotta pay!
I’m ticked off that UCF seems more focused on trendy uniforms every season. How about just having a home/away uniform and focus more on how to beat their opponent?

I am so ticked off and hurt that my husband continues to make me the brunt of his jokes to impress others. It embarrasses me and I am embarrassed for him.
Did the Madison Avenue genius behind Southwest Airlines’ new assigned seats commercial give a thought to the music bed under it? It’s “Gloria,” the Laura Brannigan song that its many fans know contains the lyrics “… you’re headed for a breakdown,” “why doesn’t anybody want you?” and “was it … the voices in your head?” Nice pairing with a budget airline.
I’m ticked off at the new remote reporter at WFTV. He waves his arms, jumps around and talks way too fast to understand what he is saying. When he says his name at the end, it is unintelligible.
Appalled at the lack of common sense our country has. Why do we have to build bigger animal shelters when we should be spaying/neutering our pets so shelters are no longer needed?

The flip side

Hats off to the DOT for their hard work paving the roads in Deer Run, as well as Inliner for their sewer work. The workers were all pleasant and very accommodating to the residents. Thank you!
