The kick-off time and TV broadcast information for UConn football’s matchup at Rice on Oct. 25 was announced on Monday. The Huskies and Owls will kick off at 3 p.m., with the game being broadcast on ESPN+.

This will be the third meeting between UConn and Rice, with the Huskies winning matchups in each of the last two seasons.

UConn went to Houston in 2023 and earned a 38-31 win over the Owls, and then posted a 17-10 win at home last October, the beginning of what became a three-game win streak. The series will continue Saturday at Rice, and the two are scheduled to meet during the 2028 season at Rentschler Field.

The Huskies are coming off their bye week as they head to Boston College this Saturday for a matchup with their New England rival at 12 noon on ACC Network. The Huskies have won three-straight and are 4-2 thanks to a 51-10 win over FIU last time out on October 4.
