Why does the CurseForge app ask for my MC account login? Because that’s how CurseForge works. Instead of a “proper” launcher, it makes instances for the Minecraft launcher. Personally, I switched from that to Prism Launcher, I couldn’t stand how laggy and bug-ridden the CurseForge app was.
