A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Upper Mount Bethel Township.
According to a news release from state police, the crash happened just after 7 p.m. at the intersection of Deer Run Road and Riverton Road.
The driver of a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, Tyler Loudenberry, 36, of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, collided with the passenger side of a 2022 Volkswagen Taos carrying Beverly Schirripa and John Schirripa, both of Bangor.
Beverly Schirripa, a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Northampton County coroner, according to the news release. John Schirripa, the driver, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital Poconos for suspected serious injuries, and Loudenberry was taken to St. Luke’s Anderson campus for possible injuries, police said.
Pennsylvania State Police Belfast are investigating.
