A smoke shop in Allentown was robbed early Friday morning, according to authorities.

The armed robbery happened about 3:30 a.m. at Smoke Mania, 2733 W. Emaus Ave., according to an Allentown police news release. The victim told police the suspects entered the shop and forcibly removed cash and merchandise before fleeing in an unknown direction, police said. Police did not say how many people were involved or what type of weapons they displayed.

Police said one person in the store suffered a minor injury during the incident. The department said there is no danger to the community, and the investigation is ongoing.
