A West Broward man is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, after authorities say he shot a man who was carrying a baby at a Lauderhill apartment complex.
Tasaini Da Shoniel Graham, 26, is accused of shooting the man on the 7000 block of Environ Boulevard on Thursday afternoon.
An investigation conducted by Lauderhill police found Graham entered an elevator with the victim and child, who was being carried in a car seat. The trio road the elevator to the ground floor of a parking garage, where Graham then allegedly shot the victim in the back.
The man, whose name was not disclosed, is at the Broward Health Medical Center in stable condition, police said.
The infant was reportedly unhurt.
According to court and jail records, Graham was charged with attempted felony murder, aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony, and child abuse without great bodily harm. No defense attorney is named.
Graham is being held without bond at the Broward County Main Jail, according to records which also list Graham as a Plantation resident.
Police said the investigation is continuing.
