OPENINGS:
Marcy’s Hamburgers held a soft opening Sept. 3 at 77 N. Fourth St. in Easton. The menu includes burgers, wings, empanadas, sandwiches, salads and in-house mozzarella.
Chipotle Mexican Grill opened a new restaurant on Sept. 3 at 2445 Butler St. in Wilson.
Amigos Mexican Grill held a grand opening Sept. 4 at its new location on the ground level of The Marquis apartments at 27 S. Third St. in Easton, where it serves tacos, burritos, bowls and quesadillas.
AEC Market opened Sept. 6 at 2374 Seiptstown Road in Weisenberg Township, where customers can buy meat, dairy, produce, sourdough bread, muffins, croissants, pasta, snacks, soups, salads and wraps.
AG Yoga & Spin Lab held grand opening event on Sept. 11 at 623 E. Broad Street in Bethlehem.
The Barbecue Boys opened Sept. 16 at 306 S. New St. in Bethlehem. It offers smoked meats, sandwiches, burgers, and macaroni and cheese
Fairouz Restaurant opened Sept. 18 at 1916 Hanover Ave. in Allentown. It offers hummus, baba ganoush, muhammara, falafel, shawarma, burgers, kabobs, eggplant dip, wraps, platters and loaded fries.
Ideal Food Basket opened Sept. 19 at 901 Northampton St. in Easton.
Maracas Dominican Restaurant opened Sept. 20 at 665 Northampton St. in Easton, where it offers chicken with rice and beans, sancocho, mofongo, mangú, juices, a bring-your-own-beer policy, catering and private events.
The hotel Towneplace Suites by Marriott held a grand opening and ribbon cutting Sept. 24 at 5828 Memorial Road in Upper Macungie Township.
The painting and event studio Whoodle Works Studio opened Sept. 27 at the Palmer Park Mall in Palmer Township.
The national sandwich chain Jimmy John’s opened a new location at the Schoenersville Centre at 3219-A Schoenersville Road in Bethlehem.
CLOSURES:
Black River Wine Bar closed Sept. 21 at the Trolley Barn Public Market in Quakertown.
Maingate Nightclub will remain permanently closed at 448 N. 17th St. in Allentown, according to a Sept. 22 announcement.
Breakfast on Broadway announced its closure Sept. 24 at 15 Broadway in Bangor.
Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant has closed all of its locations in the country, as of a Sept. 25 announcement, including at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall Township.

OPENINGS:
Railroad Records opened Aug. 2 at 335 Vine St. in Bethlehem, where customers can buy and exchange merchandise like records, CDs, tapes, books, antiques and vintage clothes.
Zaks Bistro opened Aug. 5 at 645 Northampton St. in Easton. It serves wraps, bowls, sandwiches and pizza.
The Swift restaurant reopened Aug. 6 at The Wilbur Mansion at 201 Cherokee St. in Bethlehem. The menu includes steaks, pork chops, lamb, duck, escargot, beetroot carpaccio, salads, soups, beer, wine and cocktails.
Sorcery and Scripts opened Aug. 6 at 74 W. Board St., Suite 110, in Bethlehem. The store offers fantasy books, board games and events like book clubs.
Blue Moo Ice Cream Shop reopened Aug. 9 at 2693 Community Drive in Moore Township.
Sizzling Bites Halal Grill opened a new location Aug. 12 at the 25th Street Shopping Plaza at 2429 Nazareth Road in Palmer Township. It serves gyros, burgers, cheesesteaks, macaroni and cheese, chicken tenders, salads and fries.
Dollar Tree opened at the Valley Plaza Shopping Center in the 1800 block of Catasauqua Road in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.
Bethlehem Barrel & Drafthouse opened Aug. 13 at The Outlets at Wind Creek Bethlehem, where it serves alcoholic drinks, pierogies, onion gratin soup, burgers, smoked BLTs, churrasco, crab cakes, salads and ice cream.
The Whiff Shop perfume boutique opened on Aug. 15 at 119 Northampton St. in Easton.
A new Lost Tavern Brewing taproom opened Aug. 22 inside St. Luke’s SportsPlex at 4636 Crackersport Road in South Whitehall Township.
The Color Me Mine studio held a soft opening Aug. 22 at Promenade Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township. It lets customers paint and design unpainted pottery pieces such as plates, mugs, bowls and figurines.
Bubbakoo’s Burritos opened Aug. 26 at 1892 Leithsville Road in Lower Saucon Township. It serves burritos, birria tacos, quesadillas, bowls, taco salads, chicken tenders, loaded fries and miniature churros.
Bang Bang Hibachi Grill & Sushi opened a new location Aug. 29 at 1241 Airport Road in Allentown, where customers can order sushi, hibachi, fried calamari, chicken wings, miso soup, salads, bubble tea and smoothies.
The caterer and food trailer S & D Soulicious Cuisine opened a new physical location Aug. 29 at the South Mall in Allentown. The menu includes chicken tenders, wings, macaroni and cheese, wings, ribs, fries and collard greens.
El Jefe’s Taqueria reopened Aug. 30 at the Five 10 Flats at 506 E. Third St. in Bethlehem.
Blue Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery held a grand opening Aug. 30 at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall Township. It serves pizza, sodas and wine varieties such as red, white, dry, sweet and semi-sweet.
White Elephant held a soft opening in August at the Delta by Marriott hotel at 7736 Adrienne Drive in Upper Macungie Township. The menu includes lamb chops, paneer angara, goat curry, shrimp moilee, butter chicken, eggplant bruschetta and cassata ice cream.
CLOSURES:
Burger on Broad closed Aug. 16 at the Nefarious Eats Commissary Kitchen at 500 W. Broad St. in Quakertown.
Two Rivers Brewing Co. closed for retail sales on Aug. 17 at 542 Northampton St. in Easton.
The last Sonic drive-in within the Lehigh Valley closed at 1753 Airport Road in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.
Southside 313 Bar & Grille closed Aug. 23 at 313 E. Third St. in Bethlehem.
Fisk Camera Shop closed Aug. 29 at 2115 Birch St. in Wilson
